That's the Ticket

I've been keeping somewhat of an eye on the 2008 Presidential Candidates, but few of them seem very Presidential to me. I think there's a window of opportunity for 2 celebrities to come forward and rock the vote. But what 2 celebrities could most motivate the American public? Who could awaken the betrayed conservative majority? Who could convince stupid young people to actually participate in government? I present to you the answer to those questions and the next President and Vice President of the United States of America:

I was almost horrified to death by your post today, Matthew. I know you're joking, but I don't think I'm there yet with these two. (I should post on Rush some day. I just haven't because my mom always said if you don't have anything nice to say....)

I think of Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert ran on a ticket together, I'd even vote for them. And, I think many twentysomethings would agree with me.

Sorry...had to do an edit...

Lol...there's a facebook group that I'm a part of that's called "Stewart/Colbert for 2008". I would so vote for them. I would rather get my news from Jon Stewart than CNN.

I may do some type of celebrity election later on using polls and such.

to be honest, I think Rush Limbaugh is a very talented and accurate individual. I can understand not liking his personality. I can understand not liking his beliefs. But i don't think many can deny that he has thought through his positions or that he is very good at what he does. I don't even like politics and I find it hard to turn off his show on the rare occasion that I catch it.

But I understand it's 'hip' not to like him.

Ok I'm Canadian but I would rather vote for Howard Stern as president than Rush Limbaugh. Now if Stewert and Colbert ran i would give up my Canadian citizenship become and become an American just so I could vote.

I'm so glad I am moving back to Canada and don't have to deal with this sillyness!

Why can't we ever have any good candidates for President? Oh yeah, because no one would vote for them, I forgot.

I like Rush Limbaugh. I might actually vote for him. But then, I am probably the most conservative person I know. Haha, but Howard Stern as VP?

hey regan :)

I tend to like Rush too. He is usually right about the dems. Of course, if there were someone as talented as him on the other side of the political spectrum, they'd prolly always be right about the republicans too since they're all a bunch of crooks, haha.

Career politicians. Not a fan.

I put Stern in there b/c they are in the same industry and would attract opposite types of voters, catapulting them to victory
