Robbed!

I'd been house-sitting for my aunt & uncle this week. Thursday, when I went to work for the day, I neglected to lock the doors. When I got home Thursday I realized my blunder. Tons of stuff was gone. The microwave. The stereo. Even the pool table. Gone. I had no idea what to do. Should I call my aunt & uncle or let them enjoy the rest of their vacation? Somehow or another, some people from our church caught wind of my predicament and came (I guess for moral support). But I felt horrible. It was my fault. And there was no real way to make it better.

Then, as luck would have it, I woke up. It was only a nightmare. I had house-sat a month or so ago. But that was over with. It was a new day. And as I drove to the Lockport church today I was reminded of how gracious God is to give us new days. Fresh starts. New mercy. New Grace.

I HATE when you do that! Guess what-I knocked up a local girl. Guess what-I got robbed. I get all upset, then to find out it's a dream or an illustration. Aaahhhgg!

haha! I was reading this thinking, "I'm not sure I believe him", and I was right. Downside is, if you ever blog something like this that IS real, I probably won't believe you at first.

I think dreams are fascinating. The part I like is figuring out why each part of the dream was in my subconscience.
