Wii

Who has a Wii?
Who has played a Wii?
Who wants a Wii?

I don't have a Wii, but I played one last Tuesday night and will be playing it again tomorrow night. I think they are a lot of fun. The problem with video game systems has been over-complication. The original Nintendo is still my favorite system b/c the controller only had a few buttons to push. As the years went on more and more buttons were added and it took too much time just to be able to figure out how to play. With the Wii, however, you can play right away. It's simple. I've heard some good testimonies about the power of the Wii. Families are spending time together again. Nursing home folk are getting 'fun' exercise and doing things (like bowling) that they haven't been able to do in years.

I think I will try to get a Wii with my tax-rebate. Yes, the US government is giving me $600 back from what they took, supposedly next month.

I am excited about you getting a Wii

you just asked the question so you could answer it! :D

I've seen them played before..Mario Worlds/Universes, whatever looked tight. Plus, it gives excersize to kids who only know how to play video games, so why not.

I don't have one, but I have played one. So much fun, and if I were to ever buy a game system, that would be the one.

Luke and I have one. We love it. I hate all other video game systems and love a Wii. I can't say enough about how great this system is. We are about to get Mario Kart (wheels that you actually turn like on a real car) and are saving up for Guitar Hero.

I have not played one yet. I have never even seen one in person. Ell got to play last year when we visited the States, but not me. They look cool. I am the worst at video games! I am the person who pushes the button harder to jump higher, and moves their whole body to get the guy to run. Most people don't like me to touch their controllers. But if you say Wii is easy, maybe I have a chance. I am hoping to try it at someone's house next year when we are on home ministries.

My dad bought a wii for himself and his wife. we had a family night a few weeks ago and my brother and i joined them to play some bowling, golf, and carnival games. it was so much fun! if i had the money, that is one thing i would absolutely get. and yes, great for group anything and super easy to use.

original nintendo is still my favorite too.

Thanks for all the feedback. I have yet to hear any disappointment. The battle in my mind between getting a Wii or a Projector is, perhaps, ending

Go for the Wii! We got one for Christmas, and all of us LOVE it! It's the only video game system we own. Our kids have lot of stuff they can do on it, and we often have teens and young adults over who all like to play it too. We also take ours to Youth Group occasionally, and they have fun with it. AND...we have fun competing on it when the kids are asleep.

It's super fun making your own Mii character too.

Go for the Wii! :)
