Idol #10

It's Wednesday again and I just finished fast-forwarding through American Idol. Sort of a boring episode in that there were no amazing or brutal performances. Nevertheless, here's my review:

Weekly Awards
Best Performance:
Phil Stacey
Worst Performance:
Chris Sligh

Overall Standings
Top 3: Melinda (49) Jordin (47) Lakisha (46)
Low 3: Chris S (38) Haley (36) Sanjaya (24)
*Parenthesis show points I've awarded to each singer

Are you judging solely on performance or appearance as well? Because that fauxhawk on Sanjaya was insane. He looked like a freak of nature...didn't sound much better either.

I think Sanjaya should have been eliminated a long time ago... His sister is flooding the lines to keep him in there.... she has to be.

I rather enjoyed the randomness of the things that died for Kirk. You ate kangaroo and porcupines? Wow

sanjaya is certainly the worst, but for some reason, i didn't feel he was the worst tonight in particular. to be honest, i thought the 'fauxhawk' was quite creative and his voice fit that song better than past selections.

Chris Sligh, on the other hand, seems out-voiced by a large degree at this point. But he's still way ahead of Sanjaya in terms of overall ranking.

Kirk, which of those animals tastes the worst?

AM I the only one getting the vibe that the fauxhawk-sporting contestant is maybe batting for the other team?

I am not overly impressed with many performances last night. Blake was good. Haley was good. Phil was okay. Sanjaya was just plain terrible (what a surprise). Seriously, how the heck is he still on the show? And that littler girl he made cry last week? I don't think she was crying because she LIKED the performance. Yikes...

It is my vote that you should re-organize your blogger list based on a different criteria. I don't like being so close to the bottom!

To make it worth your while, I will blog every day for a month (provided I am within access to a computer) if you move me to within the top 10 in the list.

I don't care the criteria. Just move me!

(And don't give me "the first shall be last and the last shall be first" and "in order to be great in the kingdom, learn to be a servant" crap.. it's a blogger list for goodness sake!!)

frankly, Sarah, I prefer the criteria that puts the most recent bloggers at the top. So long as blogroller is working that seems most effective to me. But when I did that, people complained. I will try it again right now and see who complains :)

yippee!! Whining works!! (now i have to figure out what to blog about every day for a month!!)

Curiousity strikes, does blogroller pull them to the top when they are updated or have you just put the most usual bloggers at the top? Is there any order to the rest of them??

(Sorry Nalesa!!) heh

Oh, and I will not complain.

matthew said...

blogroller puts them on top when they are updated

the entire order is probably in that order, the problem being that some blogs aren't recognized by blogroller for various reasons (personal settings, non blogspot blogs, etc)

matthew said...

btw, sarah, if you hold your mouse over any of the names it tells you when they last updated

using this tactic, i discoved that all the way down to Aaron Henderson the list is in order of when last updated.

on january 20th, blogroller gave EVERYONE ***'s, so from that point on the list appears to be mostly alphabetical.

The people at the very bottom are probably not recognized by blogrollers database

I was not a fan of the eel. I forgot to add Moose and Deer. Moose is my favourite meat ever.

Porcupine would taste better I think if I cooked it next time. Kangaroo tastes a lot like beef.

looks like i was right about Chris Sligh being the worst tonight. Bye Sligh!
