Sandra Bullock

Ok, this is the last actor/actress that I can think of that qualifies (7 movies I've seen) for my 'favorite actor' contest. With time, more are sure to qualify and I will add them accordingly.

Hey...I updated my blog on Wednesday and didn't even get an ** from you... What's the deal? :)

hey :)

Sometimes blogroller doesn't work perfectly. The only thing you can check is...

1) Go to your blogs settings
2) Click the 'publishing' tab
3) Make sure you answered 'yes' to 'notify weblogs.com'

If you already have 'yes', then I'm not sure why it didn't work? Have you noticed ***'s next to your name on my page in the past? I can't remember

*tap tap tap* um, excuse me, matthew, but "the lake house" is not on this list...why in the world not??? you have to see this movie!

I began protesting these posts when I found out the actor or actress in question's actual acting ability is not in question in any of the roles. Star Wars was a great movie and Mark Hamil is a sucky actor. If we were doing him he would get a great for Star Wars when he deserved a sucktastic!!!

"But I was going to go into Tashi station to pick up some power converters!"

Yeesh

I meant Mark Hamill (my prof reading sucks)

I have yet to see Lake House or Hope Floats, but I'd be surprised if either of them make it onto the 'good' or 'great' ranking. perhaps we'll find out someday.

As for Kirk's comment. I admit this isn't really an 'acting' competition for a few reasons.

1. I don't know that I am a good judge of acting

2. Even if I were, I tend to think I end up liking the 'acting' more based on if I like the movie itself.

3. I said 'few' which means there should be another reason, but I can't think of one. crap.

Anyways. I guess this 'competition' is really a tribute to the actors ability (or his/her agents ability) to pick good roles. What I really wanted to find out is what actors are a 'draw' for me. What actors will provoke me to watch a movie based on his/her name only. And I think these rankings will help me do that.

"28 Days" was also a very good Sandra Bullock movie. And Matthew, we seem to have similar taste in movies...I would think you'd at least be willing to attempt to watch the Lake House. It's a sappy movie completely, I will give you that, but it's beautiful. :)

I'll vouch for Hope Floats too. It's excellent.

You forgot Love Potion #9, too! That was one of her earliest works!
