I am going to do a post with my predictions for MLB, but I keep having other things come up that I want to post. And I keep a strict 1 post/day policy.
thank you for posting lindy ruff. i love listening to that guy whine almost as much as i do pat quinn. unfortunately for me, my whiner isn't as fiery and explosive as yours! :)
after hearing the rant and knowing that tucker is a dirty player, i was expecting something ala marchment. that wasn't. it wasn't a clean hit, but it wasn't terrible; it was more reactionary. and he definitely didn't go after hecht's head. too bad hecht got hurt, though. but tucker dove? lol...i don't think so, but if he did, smart play. i am pretty sure tucker won't be suspended...but we'll see. if he is, look for 1 game.
I agree it wasn't THAT bad of a hit. But I anticipate a 2 game suspension solely due to the fact that he was obviously reacting to getting leveled by Grier 5 seconds earlier.
In regards to Ruff, he is a whiner, but for the right reasons. I'm almost positive that he's trying to use this to wake this team up b/c they have been playing like crap
In any case, hopefully Hecht will be back for the playoffs since he is a key player on our team.
i think you're right: ruff is whining to motivate his team, which is what quinn does. it's also what annoys people when they take his whining as really calling out injustice. he's not; just putting fire into his team. easier to play when you htink the world's against you! ruff was ticked that his team got hammered and then outplayed by a team not in the playoffs. they had better play better or one round and they are out.
no suspension for tucker, like i predicted. grier did flatten tucker, but he's about 80 pounds heavier. you keep your fatsos to yourself! ;)
