Chained to the Past

I watched a movie last night simply because it had Claire Forlani in it. She is my favorite actress (which is the non-superficial way of saying she's the prettiest). But anyways, one of the characters was a famous writer who hadn't written in 20 years because he was afraid he'd never be able to create another worthwhile book.

Maybe that's what happens to us as Christians sometimes. God does something great through/in us, but then we're afraid He will never be that real again so we become attached to His previous work. We stop living day by day and start living in the past. God never stopped being an active God, but we stopped putting the pen to the page.

hey SWEET blog! How did you do all that cool stuff to it?

thats a really neat comparison to the movie and i completley agree...sometimes we do stay attached to the Lords previous work when really we should be waiting for him to do this kind of work in us everyday! We need to live our lives day to day as you said instead of in the past! * Great word.

God bless and thanks for commenting on my blog!

the key to my blogs coolness is in the eye-burning color scheme. The html for these fantastic colors are 00ff00, 0000ff & 2a2323.

Have a great day Krystin, I'll check back in on your blog from time to time. God bless.
