Right Behind
The Upturned Table Parody Series has turned in another solid effort with 'Right Behind', a parody of last days goofiness. Much like the Mantra of Jabez, this book does a jiffy job of humorously pointing out the shallowness of North American pop-Eschatology. The characters (Buford, Buff & Cleo) brought many smirks to my overly malleable face as they conversed about the 'rapture' and their part of the story (yes, in this book, the characters are aware of their roles). I enjoyed the story thoroughly, even the lackluster ending. Perhaps there will be a sequel or eleven.
