i could hardly believe my eyes!!! lol amazing. we will see what change this brings. in your opinion, how much influence does a coach have to make the players play well? i can't justify blaming all the lousiness of the Bills on jauron, but i am definitely relieved he is done.

Hey Jess :) How are ya?

In my opinion the coach plays a HUGE role. Not just in terms of what 'system' the team runs, but also the teams mentality. Jauron didn't have a clue when it comes to what 'system' to run on offense (the Bills were never better than 25th during his regime), and he brought a lousy mentality (no toughness, no accountability).

The most telling thing about Jauron is that his players loved him. That generally means that they didn't have to work hard. They loved him for what he didn't make them do, not because they respected him (otherwise they would have played hard for him these past few weeks when his job was on the line).

In the end, he's a smart man, but not a smart football coach. And not a good football coach. I long for the day when we get a coach in here with a little bit of emotion and a tough attitude.

Hey Matthew. I'm doing quite well, thanks :)

Thanks for explaining that. I see what you mean and I agree, we need some emotion and heart. This might actually be what we need to spark some interest. It has been agonizing to watch the games the last few weeks.

here's to hoping!
