'you don't love me anymore' always made me laugh. it might not be worthy of a 'best of' list, but thought i'd mention it anyway

Where do I start? You have basically ignored his first 7 albums. Of your list the only ones that should make a top 15 are:

White and Nerdy
Couch Potato
The Saga Begins
Jerry Springer
Pretty Fly for a Rabbai
Amish Paradise
Smells Like Nirvana
Albuquerque

They wouldn't all be in my top 15. You can't forget Hardware Store which is the most difficult musically song probably ever written to sing.
Off his first album I like My Balogna but I would choose Mr Frump and the Iron Lung.

Off of 3D you can't forget Eat It.

Third album Dare to Be Stupid and One More Minute are classics. Another fave but not in my top would be Girls Just want to have lunch.

Fourth album Polka paty is on e of his strongest albums. Great polka, plus Here's Johnny, Addicted to Spuds, Living with a Hernia, and the classic love ballad Good enough for now.

Fifth album Even Worse has Fat, You Make Me, I Think I'm a Clone Now, and the original stalking song Melanie.

Sixth album was the UHF soundtrack and contains one of my top 3 of all time. The Biggest Ball of Twine in Minnesota. I also really like Spam

7th album was Off the Deep End. You already mentioned Smells like Nirvana but When i was You Age is soooo quotable. You don't love me anymore is a great ballad. This was also a very solid album.

8th album was Weird al's worst but we do get my top ten song Harvey the Wonder Hamster from it.

9th album was Bad Hair Day. You never mentioned Since Yu've Been Gone or Gump. A lot of people really like the night Santa went crazy but it is not one of my favs.

You've covered the 10th album Running With Scissors although The Weird Al Show Theme Song deserves some attention.

11th is covered but Hardware store is in my top 3 as well. I hate Ebay and Ode to a Superhero. So formulaiic.

12th album Sraight out of Lynwood I have to say I really like Do I Creep You Out.

On one of his Greatest Hits Albums he also included Headline News whose "little Mr. Happy was missing" line about the Bobbits is funny.

Now you have some songs to choose from.

Is he famous in America? I don't know him...
(But I know "Don't download this song" because you put it here!)
Well, I wanna listen to the "Best-of" Weird Al CD which you make :)

Steph, thanks for the suggestion :)

Kirk, I KNEW you'd be able to help greatly! Fact is, I haven't heard a lot of Weird Al's stuff, I just like everything I DO hear. So your list will help a lot before I burn the CD

Maki, yeah, he is quite famous in america. He sings a lot of funny songs. He is more like a comedian than a singer, but he's actually pretty talented in music too.

You've inspired me. I may jusat try to come up with my own top ten and possibly top 27 Weird Al song quotes of all time.

bryan...i will look that one up. don't know if i've heard it.

kirk...if you do, be sure to blog it :)

Grapefrruit Diet is a generic ska song that Weird Al did on Running with Scissors. kind of a catchy tune but a weak concept in my opinion. Good for a couple of listens.

I am still working on my list. but i think i've decided to do 2 CD's instead of 1. He just has too much worthy material.
