Trial and Error, starring Jeff Daniels, Michael Richards, and Charlize Theron is what I'd call a 'good, clean comedy.' I've seen this movie about 5 times, the latest being 2 nights ago, and everytime I watch it I laugh.To reduce the plot to a couple lines, it's your basic 'trading places' storyline. Richards plays a struggling actor that has to pretend to be a lawyer. Daniels plays a soon to be married lawyer forced to pretend he's an actor. The courtroom scenes are classic slapstick. I think this is one of those movies that just clicked with me. Most will probably think it's too goofy.
