Pretty Woman should also be under "great." Although, maybe I'm partial b/c that was how I first learned of the birds and the bees. <--Can I say that on a blog? I just did.

Also Erin Brokovich is much better than average.

You may be right about pretty woman. i was right on the edge with that one. and i'm not surprised you liked erin brokovich either, seems like your kinda movie.

I'm with Jo on Pretty Woman, and there are a few others there that i disagree with. But then it's your blog and not mine.

I must also disagree with several titles and their ratings. I have not seen the titles in the "bad" catagory, but many of the others deserve a bump up to a higher one. But maybe I think this because I am a girl and quite partial to chick flicks. Although I think Conspiracy Theory (and Mona Lisa Smile, which I know many guys who liked) deserves higher. Anyway, I'm interested to see if any guys agree with us girls or if they agree with Matt.

Dena, be glad you haven't seen the Mexican or closer, since both and wish I hadn't. Those are two on the list I fully support the placement of.

If you are ever in a situation were "bad" movies are an option to watch remember their “Matthew” ratings and run, run away. Flee for your lives. Save your brain cells and time. do not watch them. Horrible, horrible films. Only reason I watch them both was I kept hoping they’d get better and they just didn’t.

Matthew, I would also agree the Ocean’s Eleven was a good movie. I would not put Runaway Bride, Mona Lisa Smile, Erin Brokovich, or The Pelican Brief in the same class as Ocean’s Twelve. What were you thinking?

you girls almost have me persuaded regarding pretty woman. i may switch it to the great category.

I am not going to change any of the others though, i feel confident that my opinion is spectacularly accurate

My Best Friend's Wedding is grossly under rated on your review. It is perhaps one of the greatest romantic comedies ever made, and definitely the best date movie ever! It actually gave me the inspiration of how to propose to my wife (on the Chicago river during a cruise).

you pushed me over the edge, so i have changed 'pretty woman' to great. but left the rest the same. i do see, however, a bit of hypocrisy in that i gave brad pitt a 'good' for oceans 12 and julia roberts only got an 'average'! Either i was in a different mood or i am sexist.
