Gilmore Girls- The new writers really have changed this show a lot. It's not horrible. It seems much more relationally themed. I liked that they fit most of the characters into the episode tonight. And there were certainly some clever parts. I really like Luke & April. And Rory is becoming more and more likeable (maybe b/c she's detached from Logan). I still hate the Lorelei/Chris storyline though and it just seems, to me, like she is faking being happy.
Lost- Wednesday night's episode was the last until February 7th (starting then, they'll show 16 consecutive new episodes). This episode was, I thought, one of the strangest so far. It wasn't strange in the normal 'lost' sense (unexplainable). Instead, it was strange in the sense that characters seemed to act differently than themselves.

The LAST until FEBRUARY?!?!?! HOLY CATS!!! That's not very nice.
I agree. But I just checked to make sure and the next episode isn't until February 7th
I think the whole "fall finale" thing is ridiculous. Are they going to play reruns during that time? That could be good, considering I am totally lost as to what happened before this season.
my roommate watched gg, and i happened to be up getting a drink when they showed the preview for the next 'proposal in paris' episode. i nearly gagged. however, it does give me cause for hope, because IF Lorelei says no, than we can get back to her and Luke pronto! That hope sorta makes me want to watch again, but only IF she says no to Chris. and she better. she has more intuitive self knowledge than that. it would be better for her to be single for the rest of her life than to marry chris and his i'm-so-romantic-bag-o-tricks and his schmooziness and his making-the-past-history-disappear-Presto!-okay!-i-have-money-now!-so-that-makes-up-for-everything.
Lorelei needs to ask herself, "Who do I love?" and if that is not clear, then, "Who is the better man?" and if she can't tell the answer to that, then she should ask herself, "Who am I most "Lorelei" around?" And if she can't tell that, than she should ask, "Who is the better father?" and if she can't tell that, she's a bimbo.
Jo, you're huge word has ruined the shape of my blog :)
Jessica, they 'at least' tried to appease the fans by promising 16 consecutive episodes starting february. I don't mind the break too much actually.
Jo, I am either hoping she says no (as you said) or that she says yes and then their plane crashes on the way home.
And if the plane crashes into the 'lost island' that'd really make things interesting
Matthew, you should inform the writers of your brilliant idea to have a GG plane land on the Lost island. I'd probably watch both shows consistently if that happened. :)
I taped Lost last night so I could actually see it. I watched it at 10, and I must say I generally liked the episode. However, I think time passes too slowly for a viewer to really feel like they are getting anywhere in the show. Jack's move was pretty genius at the end. I'm surprised Ben would even trust him not to do anything stupid like that. And I can't quite figure out why Jack would tell Kate to run. Logic/human nature says he should be jealous and hold a grudge against her because she slept with Sawyer. But, he didn't exactly say that Sawyer could run, so maybe he's taking out some anger on him. The whole turn of events just caused me to like those three characters more.
after reading your blog and talking to my girlfriend (who is an avid GG fan), I have become a fan of the show as well. it's sorta weird to admit, I guess, but there's just so much meat to the story it's hard not to get enthralled. so, thanks for playing your small part in my new addiction.
everytime a guy becomes a gilmore girls fan, all of heaven celebrates
or something like that
