October Blogger Awards

As you can see, on the bottom right of my blog, sometime in the next week The Matthew Never Knew will receive it's 100,000th hit. Maybe I should give a prize to visitor #100,000. But don't bother trying to win because once it gets close I'll just keep hitting refresh. Then I'll give the prize to myself.

wow. i think my blog has been lacking in content, particularly theological content, since its inception--- so, naturally i'm surprised. in fact, i get criticized for not 'testifying about Jesus' and 'declaring the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living' more on my blog. oh well, can't please everyone. but glad to know that you appreciate it at least, Matt!

Yeah all those things you said about Jo's blog are true. Obviously she's sucking up for this reward. Give me a person that blogs every 4 days and has absolutely no substance but yet attracts the masses with pithy humour and silly contests any day. I vote for that person.

btw kirk, i think if i knew you better in real life i'd actually read your posts more thoroughly and enjoy them greatly. i'll pry start doing that, so keep up the good posting :)

Kirk, obviously your blog should win the "community building" and "absolutely unique self-expression" and "story-telling" awards. (Is there anything more important than these?) No need to lament. Matt simply doesn't have the categories within his award 'system' to contain you. This realization should make you feel better.

btw, I don't need to suck up to Matt; I'm already securely one of his top myspace friends. Ha. Besides, Matt knows that he is almost the prototype of what my male nemesis would be, if I had one. And, I may or may not be trying to set him up with my sister [ahem!]

if you keep calling me matt without the hew you might drop a few spots on the myspace rankings

of course, setting me up could put you back in first, haha

I hate myspace. That's all.

i also hate myspaces. they are so ugly. i have one only for the sake of a few who are oblivious to its ultimate evil

[ahem!] i'm working on it matthew, but the probability isn't good: you don't use the phone; she doesn't use the internet! plus there is that whole she lives in memphis thing. i really just want you to deconvert her from her loyalty to small business pyramid schemes, b/c she doesn't listen to me about that. yes, i admit, i have selfish motivations.

kirk, i don't like myspace either. but i still have one for networking (<--ha sounds so official) reasons.

heather, thanks.
