I'll be finishing up my series through Paul's letter to the Colossians tonight. I'm finally making a bit of progress in teaching through Paul's letters (Galatians, Colossians, Philemon completed).
I realize this is late, but I was looking through the homosexuality notes. You note the historicity of Genesis in contrast to homosexuality. I surely agree that Genesis is the key biblical witness to heterosexuality as God's intention. I am not sure about how the historicity of Genesis is essential. Mind giving me your thoughts?
Yeah, we can disagree. Thanks for clarifying. I think we're on the same page. Seems to me that taking Genesis as 'Scripture' commits one to submitting to it--or at least following hte tradition which it starts. Interestingly, of the things that the Bible contains conflicting voices on, homosexuality is not one of them. It maintains a consistent the whole way through.

You may be right AP. Perhaps it is more accurate to say the testimony of Genesis in general is important.
Of course, I still disagree with you on the nature of Genesis 1-11 :)
