China Trip 3?

I'm going to let my readers decide on my participation in China Trip 06*. Just leave a YES or NO:

SHOULD MATTHEW GO ON CHINA TRIP 06?

*actually, the results of this poll will be given little to no weight in my thought process

Yes.

Bird and Mr. Pu would miss you.

not enough info given to give good advice....
that being said: yes (you have no loans and out of country experiences are usually worth the effort and financial planning).

This poll is a sham. Just like most elections; nothing changes no matter who you vote for.

Being a very nationalistic person and faithful to pollsters (even though, as Whitey said "This poll is a sham") I say "no"- Western influence is bad...

Does this cancel out my vote cuz I wrote more than "yes" or "no"?

maybe.

didn't see that one coming, did ya??

wait, if the "3" implies that you've already been there twice, than i'd reconsider my initial vote.

Elizabeth,
Yes, the main attraction of going back is to continue such relationships.

Jo (2x),
Yes, I have been to China twice already (spring 2004, 2005). We go for 2 weeks and teach english and connect with the churches there and hope to share Christ with the teachers.

Robin,
I guess I need to make my footnote font color the same as my background :)

Coady,
Yes

Robert,
No

Count
1 yes
1 undecided -> yes -> no
1 rebellion
1 disqualified no
1 maybe

Yes.

The food there must be great. I love chinese food here. Plus they have a wall their which they say is pretty great.

Seriously though, it would be cool to see the church in China. That's sweet that you've been over there. If you haven't blogged about it already, I'd love to hear what it is/was like.

You know a guy named Mr. Pu. Way too funny. His first name isn't bird is it? (I mean no disrespect to what are probably two great individuals)

Tammy,

I think its a rare exception that God would be against a missions trip. Just my opinion. I think He'd be pleased if I go and pleased if I stay home a minister :)

Joe,

Oh, the food is super awesome (almost all of it). If you want, I narrated a photostory last year at this link:

And yes, Bird and Mr. Pu are 2 different guys, haha :)
