The Great Wall

Tonight I'm the substitute Bible study leader for the International Students Chinese group. I've done this a few times and always enjoy it. They are so eager to learn about God. Sadly, I don't' usually get that impression from many Americans. I think I'm going to China again the Spring, but I doubt I'll be going back to the Great Wall, so here's my pic from the last time. Matt I totally know what you mean about getting that impression from Americans...it is very sad. God has blessed our country so much...and what are we giving Him in return?? I pray that revival will break out across the US...wait no across the WORLD...now that would be SO AWESOME! I want everyone to have the joy of the Lord in their life like we do! -Cassie

Yep...the Bible study went great. The 90 minutes goes so fast. Sometimes when I preach or teach at church I feel silly to talk about such simple concepts as God's love, grace, and mercy....but the Chinese students WANT to hear about that!

For a lot of years the Chinese have been taught nothingness, and they ended up empty. Now they are being given the Bread of Life and a Spring that never runs dry through God's Word and they can't get enough of it. It really is an awesome privilege to work with them.
