My favorite Bible teacher is Steve Gregg and this Summer he'll be coming to our church for a men's event and Sunday morning services. Who is your favorite Bible teacher and have you ever met him or her? Should I pay close to $1000 to have Drew Marshall come for next year's men's event?

I don;t know if I have a favorite "Bible Teacher" but I'm a big fan of DeNeff and Stanley.
As in "Drew Marshall" from the Drew Marshall show in Toronto? If so a) make sure that includes his travel and more than one time speaking. No one is worth $1,000 a pop. and b) make sure you church is ready for him. I like the guy but he is a crap disturber.
I should also clarify I think he would connect well with every day guys, he's somewhat of a man's man. Also highly calvinist and more in the "let's all stink together" then the "let's let God change us" category.
I'd agree w/ AJ on DeNeff.
I've also come to appreciate one on of my Prof's for being able to bring the Scripture together & helping to see how OT themes apply 2 the NT. He just helps give a fuller understanding of scripture. His name is Ken Radant.
Professor Branscombe will probably always be my favorite Bible teacher. I like Beth Moore too. I haven't met Beth yet.
