In this hour long special, Michael is quickly going into debt with Jan renovating his condo. He tries to get money anyway he can including asking his employees for a loan. Meanwhile, Jim and Pam spend the night at Dwight's farm - now a bed and breakfast.
Question. What is the best prank Jim/Pam ever pulled on Dwight?

Better question: What's so "special" about an hour long episode? Haven't they all been hour long specials this year?
i'm so sad i will have to miss tonight's episode! diana and i are driving to pa for the weekend, so maybe i'll get to see it online tomorrow. quotes will come in due time.
answer: i may be forgetting a lot of pranks, but i think the alliance was the best prank ever. seeing dwight in that box and then later seeing his hair blond...hilarious. i also appreciated last week's computer prank and the cia mission when dwight threw his cell phone off the roof. :)
I vote for faxes from the future. I loved Dwight knocking the "poisoned" coffee out of Stanley's hand.
faxes from the future definitely one of my favorites.
for some reason my favorite is when they put all his personal items in the candy machine...and then pam comes and buys some
and then they give him the nickels to buy the stuff back.
that episode was better than the 2nd week, but not as good as the first or third. I think i'll actually like the return of half-hour episodes. It felt like there was too much time b/w really funny moments these 4 weeks.
That being said, there were some really funny parts. I like the seen where they were discussing 'whomever'
'Whomever'-definitely a good laugh on that one! I also liked the little amish dude from Dwights B&B (or whatever it was that he called it...the thing where people get a bed at night and breakfast in the morning....)that kept running around like crazy. HE was funny. I thought this episode had a weird vibe...I love how it's on for an hour tho, cause a half an hour would go way too fast with this kind of show.
i really appreciated jim and pam in this episode. of course, the romantic scene at the end when jim is telling dwight about his miserable experience and then he goes and kisses pam was my most favorite. it was refreshing to see j, p, and d in casual clothes. also nice that dwight knocked jim's stuff off his side of the desk...i'm hoping this means the old dwight is back. i much preferred him to this softy/mushy dwight.
maybe quotes to follow...there weren't many lines that i actually thought were quote-worthy.
ps: b&b at schrute farm=brilliant. it's always good to see mose as well. :)
Yeah I think they've focused too much on the various romantic plotlines this year, and the humour has suffered.
I loved the time Jim moved Dwight's desk into the men's room.
desk in bathroom...i definitely agree! i think my most favorite Jim prank was when he dressed up like dwight (and dwight as jim at the end)...there were no words. i laughed so hard.
