I just finished watching 'The Radicals,' a film about the Anabaptists who faced persecution from both the Catholic & Protestant Churches. The film focused, in particular, on the role of Michael Sattler, an early Anabaptist leader.
When I ordered this movie a few weeks ago, I had assumed it was a more recent film. I was somewhat disappointed, initially, by the quality. But as the story progressed I became less aware of the low budget and more aware of powerful message that the Anabaptists proclaimed. I, being (I hope) an Anabaptist at heart, was inspired by Michael Sattler's conviction. Lots of inspiring lines toward the end of this movie, I recommend it whole-heartedly.
