Gilmore Girls 4

I won't be home from the rough, tough, masculine hockey game until late, so I'll be watching the delightful & clever Gilmore Girls around midnight, but feel free to post any comments you have on tonight's episode.

I am so many seasons behind on this show. I dearly miss my beloved WB channel. I should by the seasons....at $45 a pop! Ugg....I should ask for them (or maybe just start with season 1) for Christmas...

I recently saw season 5 at wal-mart for 19 bucks. I don't think that is common, but you could get lucky.

Its no longer WB. Its "CW"

19 bucks! What a steal! I bought 4 for 25 and I thought that was a good deal because it was half off.

argh.

Go Sabres!

I know this is the wrong post to say this on but I just saw the end of the Buffalo, Philly game and I must say that was an amazing game if you are a Buffalo fan. What made it all the more special to me was the fact they lft the goalie in for all 9 goals which meant on TSN they brought out the footage from December 2, 1995 of Patricia Roy allowing 9 goals vs Detroit. Yes this was a good hockey day. (except the Habs I think won. Useless Calgary)

well, at least the day was redeemable in hockey, because it surely wasn't redeemable in Gilmore Girls World. I'm just disgusted.

Announcement: Me and the Gilmores---we are SO over. Through. Done. Just like that, cold Turkey. Last Straw. Unredeemable nightmare. Not worth my time.

I'm in the market for a new TV show loyalty. Any ideas? (And if anyone says Lost, I'll have to throw another tantrum).

Haha, I'll switch the blogroller back. Just wanted to see what the feedback would be :)

Jo. I'll keep my ear out for a new show for you :)

Kirk. The game was great! It was the 1st game I went to this season. So fun. I've never been to a game where my team so thoroughly dominated :)

As for the Gilmore Girls, I just finished watching it (it's 2:12am). Strangely enough, I liked the episode for the following reasons:

1. April is my new favorite character
2. Paris was in it & she's funny
3. They're definitely doing the Lorelei/Chris=perfect setup which will definitely lead to disaster.
4. Richard & Emily were good
5. Luke was good
6. Rory was good, but I'm not sure where they're going with that storyline

It's kinda odd. I don't laugh while I watch the show. I don't smile. I don't think it's an amazing show at this point. Nevertheless, I have invested in the characters and I want to see how things turn out. I generally like most of the characters. I'm stickin with the show.

Well, I loved how Emily was thrown in jail. That was hilarious. My fav was when Lorelai was taking pictures of the smiling police officers and when she had no shoes on coming out of jail!

It seems as if they are really going to end Luke/Lorelai thing and Luke is going to be happy dad.

Way to go Rory and tell Logan she had to call him back! I am glad she is getting a separate life...even if her choice of friends was weird.

JO, don't give up now. I hear this is the last season. Its due to knew writers that your frustrated I think.

Jo, about another show, I favor Numb3rs, Six Degrees, House and Standoff. You might want to try one of them. You can see back episodes online for Numb3rs and Six Degrees to catch up.

thanks jecca! i'll consider those options. although, i must admit, i'm leaning toward "House" because I like that he is so cranky but really, he has a heart of gold.

Another frustrating Gilmore week. I agree with everyone's comments so far, but I have two questions. Did anyone else notice that Lorelai really only seems to be going through the motions with this thing with Chris? I think she's trying to be into it because she thinks she should be and because she knows that he is so passionate about her and Luke doesn't seem to be. But I really think that she wants to be with Luke. Also, was it just me or did Luke change his hat? Got rid of the hat that Lorelai bought him... (you know you're a hard core fan when...) how sad.

And Jo, I definitely affirm your choice of House. It is by far the most sarcastic show on tv, which makes it one of the best shows on tv. three shows top my dvr list every week, Gilmore Girls, House, and Lost. All for different reasons, but yeah, I definitely love house.
