Nicest Niece

My niece Emma was over today so once again it was confirmed that I have the cutest niece in all the world. Sometimes 'Uncle Matt' is her favorite (I even let her get away with calling me 'matt'). Today we hunted dragons and annoyed our dog.

I love the book "I'll love you forever!"

Hey, out of curiousity, are you posting this to show your good with children for fellow single female onlookers?

Heather..I would NEVER use my niece that way! Why...do you know anyone?

Surprisingly, the anonymous comment was NOT me

Very cute Matthew. I enjoy many of your posts. Ignore the Jew's comment, emergent readers have too much going on to smile or "look" excited. (Love you "Jew")

Thanks Joe!

I've tried to comment on your blog a few times, but you must have the setting set to 'pre-approve' or something. I've enjoyed reading your posts :)

Yes, I think I should make emma the official mascot of the matthew never knew

Thanks Matt. I adjusted my comment thingy. Try again please. It is really cool to only have like two comments on my entire blog:) I'm going to have to start making my own anonymous comments on my own blog if this keeps up.

So did you get any dragons on your hunt? What kind of weapons did you use. I could see her with an elephant gun or something.

well, I still wasn't able to comment. Maybe it takes a day to adjust.

Did you change the following?
1. click change settings
2. click 'comments' tab
3. scroll down and find "Enable comment moderation?"
4. make sure 'no' is checked
5. save settings
6. republish your blog

We NEVER catch any dragons. She comes over almost every week and the first thing she wants to do is hunt for them. But we never find any. I tried to 'pretend' but she was not impressed. She wants to find a real one I think :)

well, at least YOU had fun with the story :)

no harm no foul.

btw, what's the stars about? and why did I get them? and why is my name the only one that's spelled out completely? :)

matthew said...

the *'s mean you've updated in the past 24 hours. I have no idea why i spelled your name out completely. I'll ask my therapist next time i see her

JHW said...

Okay, I tried that, it should work now.

matthew said...

yep, works :)

I noticed that Tim Cook was spelled out completely too. So you should talk with your therapist about both of us. :)
