War of the Worlds

Steven Spielberg. Tom Cruise. A classic story. All the potential in the world. Zero results.

I expected a lot out of War of the Worlds and was unpleasantly surprised. It seemed like Spielberg was out to prove he could make an alien invasion film without focusing on the alien invasion. Instead he focused on the characters. The problem? The characters weren't interesting. It was basically the same 20 minute movie six times, which was five times too many.

The acting was fine. The special affects were fine. The movie was boring.

haha, good one

I am, however, quite impressed that his 'free online dating' site mostly deals with 'free online dating'. That's quite a concept.

you are way off on this rating. WOTW was not average. it sucked. it sucked bad. it was almost as bad as Transport II. wait, it was worse b/c it was longer.

What can I say? I'm generous with my ratings. It is, however, the 2nd lowest score I've given so far.
